Yonsei Global Engagement and Empowerment Forum on Sustainable Development (GEEF 2021) Comes to a Successful Close (Sponsored by FleishmanHillard Korea)

The Third Global Engagement & Empowerment Forum on Sustainable Development (GEEF 2021) came to a successful close after two days of fruitful discussions from February 4th to 5th. Sponsored by FleishmanHillard Korea and hosted by Yonsei Institute for Global Engagement and Empowerment, this year’s GEEF forum was held online under the theme “3Ps Beyond Security: Peace, Prosperity, and Partnership.”

The forum primarily underscored the importance of international cooperation and partnerships to ensure successful achievement of United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the age of COVID-19 and shared insights from various renowned international figures, featuring UNHCR Special Envoy Angelina Jollie, South Korea’s Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha, Deputy Secretary-General of the UN Amina J. Mohammed, and former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
