On May 25, 2022, Science & Technology Policy Institute and Korean Association of Fair Economy hosted the ‘Revitalization of Innovative Enterprise and its Regulation’ forum in Seoul Global Center located in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Experts from various fields convened to discuss domestic environmental regulations and to provide alternative solutions.
During the forum, Yang Wang, a head of FleishmanHillard Stakeholder Engagement Center, emphasized, “regarding platform regulations, there are many related stakeholders besides the enterprises and the authorities, such as the consumers, investors and the media. However, there is a lack of discussion in this area. First, it is necessary to understand the concept of business platform, and then lead an efficient discussion that encompasses various stakeholders.”
After the presentation of Choi Nanseolheon – Professor from Yonsei University, Kwak Nosung – Visiting Professor from Yonsei University and Lim Youngjae – senior researcher from Korea Development Institute, various opinions on the innovation ecosystem were shared by Yu Hyosang – Director of Unicorn Management and Economic Research Institute, Yoo Byungjoon – Professor from Seoul National University, Choi Soojung – Head of Korea SMEs & Startups Institute, Kim Joohee – Director of The centre for Innovative Enterprise Research from Kookmin University, and Yang Wang – head of FleishmanHillard Stakeholder Engagement Center.
